I sent another official request and got the following answer to it: "With regard to the contest "AP vision mission statement" ID: 1445772, kindly be informed that the contest holder's account is under review and is pending conclusion until further notice. This means that all activities involving his contest are halted to ensure the safety and security of all the participants."
Dear @Freelancer.com, could you please clarify the status on this separate competition for us, freelance creatives, to avoid the situation that happened with the previous one where you kindly allowed the Contest Holder to delete the whole GUARANTEED competition with dozens of entries already submitted (thus seen by the CH and disclosed, available to use with no limitations as domain names) due to "wrong prize amount" as you explained while responding to my request. Your answer and possible assesment that will lead to fair outcome of the above contest, will be much appreciated. Hopefully, all together we will be able to cope with certain issues that do affect reputation of the entire @Freelance.com service and settle another disparity to satisfaction of everyone involved. Please keep up as we believe in you.
I did contact the Freelancer.com support, and their reply was as follows:
Good day! Greetings from Freelancer.com.
Thank you very much for your reply. We totally understand your point regarding the deleted contest. Normally, we don't delete a contest, however, it is still case to case basis, and our specialised team has deleted the contest as they considered the reason of the contest holder is valid. I assure you that before they take action, everything is being investigated first. But don't worry, let me guarantee you that we have taken your feedback as a suggestion. You can be assured that we will forward your idea to our specialized department for further review, and if possible, future implementation.
We appreciate your suggestion as it really helps us to improve the platform for freelancers and employers alike.
So somebody has paid that Guaranteed fee (and Contest fee too - but that might be excluded if Guaranteed upgrade was paid!?) and will get plenty of entries for a small amount. Clever, but Freelancer should make this impossible.
