We need a logo and program cover design for our 32nd Annual Virginia Homeschool Convention that reflects our convention theme, "Renew the Joy." Logo and program cover examples of the past four years are shown, and may be considered a template. The cover design should adhere to the same format as the previous years' covers: the side banner "2015 Convention"; one high-quality family image, and the logo.
1. The logo is the most critical element as it will be used in a variety of print and web media. The logo should incorporate a sans-serif or bold face font along with a script font, and include the following text:
Home Education: Renew the Joy
Nehemiah 8:10
Colors should come from the following color palette: green, brown, burnt orange, purple, deep red, and blue
Other elements of the cover include
2. The side banner should stay the same size and include the text: 2015 Convention
3. The background
4. A photograph of a family
5. The basic text to include the following:
32nd Annual Virginia Homeschool Convention
Greater Richmond Convention Center
June 11, 12 & 13, 2015
The cover size is 8.375" (w) X 10.874" (h)
Final logo and cover design should be given as a vectored art file or a layered Photoshop PSD. Please include links to any stock photos or fonts.
