Background:
Milkman Recordings specializes in mobile audio production. For more info visit http://milkmanrecordings.com.au/
One of the jobs we do is record school ensembles, whether that be part of a concert or dedicated recording session. These recordings are professionally mixed/mastered/printed and duplicated for distribution to parents, students and teachers.
Task:
We need to create a flyer that will be distributed to 150 music teachers in early January 2016. It's important to note that our flyer will be thrown into an information pack along with countless other businesses and sheets of paper vying for the teachers attention so it NEEDS TO STAND OUT!
- Size: A5 or A6
- Double Sided
- Colour
- Simple, minimalist, eye catching, bold, ideally it would include illustrated images.

Important Information to include:
Record Your School Ensembles!
Have you considered recording the ensembles at your school?
Milkman Recordings is a location recording service that is able to capture ensembles of all shapes and sizes, whether it is during a school concert or a dedicated recording session.
- All Inclusive: We handle everything from recording to the final product delivery, sending you updates at project milestones.
- Custom CD Artwork: We design custom artwork for each school that includes; school logo, school colour, pieces performed and name of the event. The artwork is professionally printed, duplicated and supplied in PVC slips.
- Quick Turnaround: Three week turnaround time from date of recording.
- Affordable: Prices start at $4.50 per CD for a standard one hour concert.
- Copyright Compliant: According to APRA “schools are permitted to supply recordings to the school community. They can supply these recordings to students or other schools either for no charge or to recover costs of staging the event.”
- Mobile: We are equipped to record concerts in halls or ensembles in music rooms, you name it!
- Audio engineers with Working With Children Checks.

Thanks for your submissions so far. Please avoid the colours of black and gold (send the message of budget/cheap), you are free to use whatever colour scheme you imagine. Be sure to read all of the info in the brief and check out the reference flyers. Thanks!
