  Knowing how to build ads means being able to use strong colors, quickly getting the attention of the correct market you are trying to reach and finally, able to express the message if you already got their attention. I like when we can use most of the text provided so long as it does not make the ad look too busy.

  I have extended the contest. It is important that I find the right person because we will be needing several ads as this customer wants to use a few ad networks.
  
  Please try to use colors which are in the logo or on the web site.
  Please show the logo as large as you can for name branding.
  In this case, an image is included because we want to reach people and companies that offer web services. The ad needs to get their attention and appeal to them.
  
  Please share what you would charge per ad, each add with the various sizes and with how many or unlimited changes. Share this in private if possible.

  the logo has blue in it so using the logo colors help make the look pop, as they say.

  Unfortunately, most who have submitted are using very hard to see color combinations. Orange is not a good color.
  
  Please make sure the logo is used and that the image is as large as you can get it so that it can be seen. Perhaps make the text the call to action rather than a separate button which would take up more space.

  My ad was a little ambiguous and I've since updated it. For this contest, there is no requirement for animated but you must use the logo and the image must be clearly seen in the ad.

  Thought I'd answer these here, then start on the ad: "What do you feel makes a good banner and why?": I feel a banner ad shouldn't be obtrusive and annoying because people won't want to click it. It needs to look professional, and only have 1 call to action, e.g. 1 button to stop users from choice paralysis. Considering it's a banner, you want to draw the target audiences attention, (in this case application/web content providers) to this ad. For this instance, I would say to use a call to action specifically tailored towards them, e.g. "Tired of users complaining that your app is down? Try NutPile!"
