竞赛简介
Design a new logo and logo variant for Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance. CARRA Inc is a non-profit dedicated to advancing the health and quality of life of children living with pediatric rheumatic diseases.
Note that the competition is primarily for a single logo, but it must provide for a variation of that logo for use in the related CARRA Registry (a network of people and computer technology for the collection and analysis of clinical information).

Entries may modernise the old logos (see images provided), or be a completely new logo.
Note about the attached files: The blue logo is the present CARRA logo, and the multi-coloured logo is a CARRA Registry variation.
Things CARRA would like represented in some form:
pediatric rheumatology
science
research
pediatrics
medication
drug safety, arthritis, registry, comparative effectiveness, clinical trials, patient-centered.
children
activity
joint disease
pediatric rheumatic disease
Things we want in an image/logo:
contemporary look
scientific approach
research oriented
patients/providers as partners
improving outcomes
Several rounds of review will occur in the three weeks that the contest runs.
The winner will provide vector (Adobe Illustrator) and high resolution PNG files for the logo and variations.
Update 12-Mar: I have added an example image of the color scheme of the forthcoming CARRA web site. The logo should probably be versatile enough to work with the new site.
* Apologies for the typo in the contest title. Apparently everything but the title can be changed.
