As a gift to our friends who are getting married, we want to present them a beautiful poster of all of their friends and the links which brought our group together.
We have uploaded an excel document of names boxes and locked lines with Kim and Karl (the couple to be wed) in the centre. We have also uploaded pictures of all of the names on the web. We would like the photo of Kim and Karl added into the middle (where Kim and Karl are). We would like the rest of the photos to be added to the names on the on the web. We would like the whole thing made to look beautiful. We're open to ideas for the theme.
You will see on the excel document we have put all of the relevant names with connections: we have locked the lines so that you can move the boxes around whilst maintaining the connections.
There are a few logos of universities/companies which need to be kept where they are relative to the people around them as they represent sub-clusters.
We will provide feedback as you post submissions.

Very challenging project, I think it can be designed as an infographic. If you can just provide a list for the people with relative universities/companies, because it is not completely clear. I also think we need a better resolution for the photos and specially for Kim and Karl, because their photo will take the center of the infographic, so it has to be big. The other 59 photos can be replaced later. Another thing is the size and how the graphic is going to be used and distributed (print, web ...) I think it is a cool idea you came up with,

Most, if not all the photos are very bad for printing. they have a very low resolution. they can barely used on web.

I think we can also use a color code for the universities/companies, and provide a legend just like any chart, so we the people don't have to revolve around Kim and Karl and their universities/companies. The colors attached to the photos will be clear to demonstrate the different groups and the legend will give details.
