  we are in a Texas high school gymnasium in 1988. the all-star player, name of Mitch, is entering the gym to play a big game. the gymnasium is small, it holds maybe 200 people. they are loud. some of the fans stomp on the bleachers, some applaud. some cheer, most chant Mitch's name over and over in unison. its this chant that's important. tune in any basketball game on Youtube, listen to the noise the crowd makes maybe after a big play, then layer in the "Mitch! Mitch! Mitch!..." chant.
