This illustration should be of a Merman, part fish(sea creature) part man. He should be masculine and muscled.
See the file uploaded for examples of two mermen I like. DO NOT COPY THEM!
The art should evoke manliness and strength. He could be holding as trident or some spear. Be creative as this could be the beginning of many projects and creating a world of mermen. THE MERMEN MUST HAVE GREAT SEX APPEAL.
Must have lots of details.
This should be a cartoon character.
DO NOT COPY ANY ART, this must be an original and not a copy of someone's work. If you copy anyone you will be disqualified and reported.
It should be in Vector format. More than one winner may be chosen. Continued on going work is available.

The fact that it is vector format greatly limits the level of detail for the illustration, I can make a very detailed illustration in photoshop, are you willing to accept non-vector proposals?

When you say that it should be in vector format by that you mean the file type should be in vector (svg, ai) or you just want the drawings to look like that they were drawn by a vector app or illustrator app just like the image you posted and you will be accepting png, or jpeg
