I am an independent product developer with a passion for creating practical solutions for the outdoor industry. Recently, I have designed a unique spill- and loss- resistant beverage management system that allows users to enjoy and secure highly insulated drinks anywhere, even in very active environments, including white water rapids. This two-part system includes an attachable/removable base plate and a high quality double walled stainless steel drink holder. The anti-tip, self- centering technology harnesses the power of rare earth magnets to make sure your drink is where you want it to be, when you want it to be there. The product is highly versatile and can be used by stand up paddleboarders, rafters, kayakers, snowmobilers, atv'ers, and more. The system prevents unwanted spills and loss, keeping people happy and hydrated while on the go!
The product name is, “The UNspilt.” Tag lines, “Don’t Sink the Drink,” “Save the Drinks”
I am seeking someone to design a bold, creative, and highly recognizable logo that can be used on the product itself, as well as on digital media and a variety of marketing materials. I want it to appeal primarily to an active, outdoorsy, young to middle-aged target market. It needs to exude a character of being a rugged and functional, yet high-end and high-quality product. Similar branding can be found in Yeti, Patagonia, Northface, Engel, Lululemon and other such lines.
The logo should be simple, text based, high contrast, and readable from a distance. Want it to work at both small and large sizes, and be geared primarily for single color printing. It should imply action, fun, and challenge, as well as well-earned enjoyment of the “finer things in life.” I keep envisioning kind of a “Euro” cache to it.
As deliverables, please include main logo identity; secondary logo configurations; sizing and lock up; font family and typography use guidelines; color palate and use guidelines; tag line treatment, if applicable; pattern and textures, if applicable.
(I will also soon be needing a website, so if you are also interested in potentially doing website design, please let me know.)
Keep in mind that the logo will be printed on the side of cylindrical shaped item (the beverage holder, much the size/shape of a soda can), as well as on the flat disc-shaped base (size/shape of a coaster). So maybe one circle shaped version, and one horizontal rectangle shaped makes sense? Just throwing out ideas… totally open to other shapes/configurations, if you think it makes more sense
