PLEASE SUMIT ONLY ORIGINAL IDEAS.
ABOUT:
We are Refiner, a company that sells bundled products within the DIY, self-care, and "his and hers" niche. REFINER means "a person, device, or substance that removes impurities, sediment, or other unwanted matter from something." Which ties into our faith in Christ and also the DIY and self-care components of our business. We would like to use our company to invoke feelings of improvement, self-love, self-care, homeliness, and the presence of God. We want to be the go-to product for consumers who are looking to continue to grow as well as who want unique craftsmanship and innovative products. We ultimately envision using our products in a way to contribute a wealthful resource in others’ lives and fulfill God's will.
THE ASK:
We would like a logo to embody our company’s purpose and to represent it well. We like logos that are designed with a modern and minimalistic style. We are requesting that our logo include both a wordmark of the name and a symbol.
WORDMARK:
For our wordmark, we have an idea of the style (see attached name REFINER). It does not have to be exactly like the attached example but we like the look of that. If you want to create a font that will be good please include that as a file as well in the submission with Symbols, Number, Upper, and Lowercase letters as well (i.e., if this is the route you choose we will leave a bigger tip).
EXTRA IMAGE:
The HIM and HER image is just an extra example for font reference.
SYMBOL:
For our symbol, we would like it to be something that can represent Refiner. We like the use of negative space and we like the minimalistic and modern look. Again, we would like it to embody our brand. We thought about things like hands, fire, thorns, nails, etc. We do not want the symbol to be overly complicated with fine details of each element. Note: THE ATTACHED IMAGE IS JUST AN EXAMPLE, I AM NOT A VERY GOOD DRAWER SO PLEASE DO NOT RECREATE IT TO LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THAT. USE YOUR EXPERTISE AND CREATIVITY TO GIVE US SOMETHING ORIGINAL, AUTHENTIC, AND STILL IN THE CONFINES OF OUR BRAND.
DELIVERABLES:
For the final deliverables we need:
1. The logo (Symbol and Wordmark together) (PNG & JPEG)
2. The wordmark by itself (PNG AND JPEG)
3. The symbol by itself (PNG AND JPEG)
4. A Black and White Version (PNG AND JPEG)
5. A Colored Version (Please choose whatever colors you think can work, this is a test) (PNG and JPEG)
6. AI File
7. Font that you created (FOR A BONUS). If you used an already made font just please give us the name of the font that you used.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
If we choose your logo, there may be a great possibility that we will have additional work for you going forward. So please take this opportunity and give it your best! God Bless and Thank You!
