  Hello JohnnyDawson,
  I have added entries #12 and #13 which are pages 1 and 2 with the light background, and entries #14 and #16 which are pages 1 and 2 with a dark background. A dropdown would appear when you hover over the top menu.
  Also i used the sites you provided as inspiration and your wireframe as a base design.
  The overall look is something similar to that of http://www.jeugdraadbrakel.be/ and i can modify anything you don't want or add anything you would want as per your request.
  Please provide feedback.

  Hello, my entry is number 11.
  
  Some explanations:
  
  I thought of adding a "mouseovereffect" to the "Featured Festivals" area. This effect will show more info (like name, date, larger picture, etc) for a specific festival. When you click on it you'll get the detailed page. Same effect as on http://chirp.twitter.com/ could be added too.
  
  The header part (including the example red hot chili peppers picture) could have an autoslide effect. By clicking on it you'll get to a detailed page. You could also use the left/right buttons or click on one of the preview pictures on the right to slide.
  
  What kind of Google-Ads do you want to use? A picture or plain text?
  What links do you want to add to the dropdown-navigation?
  
  Please give me some feedback. If you like the design & style I'll finish the second page for you.

  Thanks for all the entries received so far. Most of which have been out-of-the-box designs. Just want to clarify that we need a custom design in accordance with the brief and favourite sites.
