We are a ISP and we use Microtik RouterOS. So, I need a lot of things done, but lets start with 1 small script. Once this is done, then we go next. So here is the first one details. We use hotspot and PPPoE both in our network. Normally the hotspo...the specified queue. Basically. some kind of cron job setup or something, so that the script should automatically check in every 5 minutes for every hotspot login and move to the top off the hotspot queue . We are looking for a routing/switching master/jedi. We have a layer 2 tunnel with mikrotik as endpoints on both sides. On one side we want to route the traffic into the network card of a server by creating a mirror on a vswitch on a vmware host. The tunnel between the 2 mikrotik is standing and we see the traffic (SIP) but it does not reach the server. we don't see the traffic on wireshark which is installed on the server. some configuration on the vswitch is wrong. I have an uncapped dsl internet connection running at 3mbps and a capped high speed internet connection of 20mbps. Our emails are on hosted exchange and we have guests browsing the internet over wifi. Social media must go over the slower line.
