We have a Magento 2 site that seems to be quite slow at rendering search results page (and in fact any category page that has quite a few products and is not cached). When debug is added to the page it seems to indicate that a big chunk of the time is taken up by: TEMPLATE: app/design/frontend/THEME/default/Magento_Catalog/templates/product/ The search uses sphinx and this seems to be returning results quickly. I have inputs on my site which use Yahoo YUI Autocomplete (likely and older version as it was implemented several years ago). The data is loaded from a sphinx index for responsiveness. Generally the desktop version of the site is decent but the mobile version of the site has very poor responsiveness. A while back some mobile company fixed it but their code is long gone. This requires someone who knows Yahoo YUI well, as well as PHP Zend Yi (possibly) Sphinx (maybe, though I doubt this is relevant) Not sure if 'listeners' or cache but would like the overall responsiveness improved by most definitely the mobile one.
