I'm currently having trouble with my Acer Predator Helios 300 running Ubuntu. It's a laptop with 2 partitions with Ubunto on 1 of them, In the Ubuntu partition, it seems unable to detect the Ethernet ports I use for my industrial cameras, as well as the Wi-Fi connection.
