I need a desktop-based tool that can speak the native, proprietary languages of three different DCS families—ABB 800xA, ABB AC450 and Mitsubishi DIASYS Netmation—and then use those links to send remote-control commands. The scope centres on building (or integrating) protocol drivers for each system, proving that they can log on, browse the tag database, write set-points and issue start/stop or mode-change commands exactly as an operator console would. Once the drivers are stable, they have to be wrapped in a single Windows desktop application with a clean UI where I can select the target DCS, pick a tag, send a command and view a confirmation/echo.
