A drilling operation animation has to be done in 3ds max software which drills a workpiece . only the animation part is required and the model is already prebulit. so just the animation part is needed, This would include few things- integration of a machine learning model (prebuilt), which runs in the background and takes input values for parameters in the foreground. after that it predicts the values and drills the workpiece according to the output parameter( depth of cut).

I have 4 years of experience in mechanical engineering and product design with Fusion 360 software. But for animation I have experience using Blender software and not 3ds max. But Blender is good enough if all you need is an animated video. this can be used to create a good simulation for your product. but make sure your design file can be exported to an .OBJ file first. on first milestone i will make 3d rendering first. and next i will start to animated it.
