Bilingual shopping cart system with log-in

New online order system for Servolutions resellers Tools to be used: ASP.NET with SQL Server as we want to integrate further into our existing systems later, don’t care about technology used for scripting. Delivery: Full source and HTML code. Web pages should be simple structures, don’t need to be polished – we’ll integrate them with our site template and run everything on our own server. What’s it about: Current situation: Resellers currently send in their orders for our products by email or fax. We generate the license code(s) manually with our code generator and reply to their email with those codes and CC our accounting. Accounting then takes the CC’d email, searches for the reseller name in our Access database and enters the order details to create an invoice with the appropriate individual discount. What we want now: We want to automate this and have the resellers log into their account online and enter their orders there. Orders should go into a SQL database on our web server and will be picked up from there by a daily import script in the Access database to automatically generate the invoices. The application needs to be multilingual. Some of the dealers will need English language product descriptions and some will need German product descriptions. We might add more later. But: You don’t need to do ANY translation. The product database already is in both languages and we will translate the log-in screens ourselves. Just send the users over to respective language urls.
