ASP-based Content Management System

We are interested in a partner within CMS/publishing solutions. Our goal is to be able to provide to our customers dynamic websites. We need a CMS to “plug into” the back of our static sites. The CMS (or site admin) needs to “split out” clean code (xhtml / css and possibly xml), so it can be incorporated into flash only sites and conform to web standards. The CMS would have to be easily to plug into different site with different content and navigational requirements. Of course, it would have an admin login and be located in the “/admin” directory of the site folder. It has to be a system that is flexible with design, easy to use, quick to setup, stable and tested. Our customers are small to medium size companies, so the price can't be too high. The CMS has to include a SIMPLE WYSIWYG text editor. It would only allow users to: bold, italic, underline, created lists, create headings, and place images. It will NOT allow users to change font style, change font size, or any thing else that would alter the front-end design. It needs to support Dreamweaver templates. It will also need a news/article management feature for website administrators to enter standard news articles (date submitted, contributor, Title, topic sentence, article, images) whose title will appear on the site's homepage and title and topic sentence will appear in the News Archive section. Finally, the CMS code base needs to be simple. We’ve evaluated other solutions from Hotscripts, Aspin, etc. and most of the code is just bloated. Acuity, Site Dynamic and InnovStudio have good featuresets, are easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. The CMS must look good and function properly. We are not interested in receiving a solution that isn't both functiopnal and pleasing to the eye. We don’t need thrills, just simple and clean output and content management. We will do the design-part, and you will set up or provide us with the CMS/publishing solution. We do not program. This system is long overdue and needs to have a short delivery time. Reliability is key as to date, we have had unpleasant experiences with outsourcing these projects.
