You are required to produce a 2,000 word report on the impacts your chosen major sporting event has on the host community. The assessment task word count should be no more than 2000 words. Work that is more than 10% over this word count will be penalised by 10% of the available marks, i.e. you would lose 10 marks on this assessment task. Note that all text (including text in tables) is included in the word count apart from the list of references at the end of the document.
Assignment Requirements:
You should provide a report that utilises academic literature:
• Recognises the aims and objectives of hosting the major sporting event.
• Provides a balanced, holistic view of the impacts as they relate to your major sporting event.
• Critically evaluates the impacts of the major sporting event and illustrates how the impacts help to achieve the aims and objectives of the event.
• Is no more than 2,000 words in length, submissions over this will be penalised.
The assignment should be presented in a professional manner with a front cover, headers and footers, contents page and any references used and referenced according to UK Harvard standard.
