Hello,if you need a 3d animation, then minimum 5mln. $, if 2d animation, then can be twice cheaper or more... "Plastering" or modeling vector painted, or stop motion animation = 800000$ low animation - minimize animated movements on small elements - 300000$ Definitely gonna need to have the team also need a lot of conversation and maybe meeting with you, as if you are true on do feature film. Hi, My name is Rose and I'm from New Zealand. I have been working in the film industry for the last 7 years. I have done a lot of set work, filming and editing and more recently been working on animation and special effects. This is a project that would need a team of people, depending on the time frame that you would want it to be finished, and I have a number of colleagues that I can call on to complete your film. It's a little bit hard to give a quote for this project without really knowing what you want. What style/genre do you want? what kind of animation do you want? 3D animation? 2D animation? stop motion? animated illustrations? animated composites? How many characters are there that will need to be modelled? How many scenes/environments are there that will need to be modelled? either miniature sets or 3D environments. These are the main things that will dictate how much this project will cost and how many other modellers and technicians I would have to employ. A 3D animation is much more costly and time consuming. Whereas a 2D animation, when well thought out and executed in a clever and unique style, can be more more cost effective and end up being a lot cooler than you thought. Once I had more information, and perhaps a read of the script, I could then give a detailed breakdown of time frame and cost, for pre-production, production and post-production.
