Create an SVG Animation

We need to create an SVG animation of an Illustrator file for a website. In the attached animation the following needs to occur;- 1. the ghosts need to move "into" the machine - the "hem" of the ghosts should also be animated to make them look like they are moving 2. the machine needs to shake a little bit every so often to show it is crunching away 3. the people need to walk away as if they have just come out of the machine which means moving their legs and bodies
