Hello!
This is a very exciting opportunity for me - I am a recently retired chef who has left work due to maternity leave. I worked at an independently owned restaurant, and my job was to design menus and create new recipes. I studied for two years at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and received my Culinary Arts Diploma, with Honors with Distinction. While cooking and working in restaurants has been my job for years, my true passion has always been writing, and my true dream is to use both of these experiences to create a cook book. While at school, I had a lot of experience creating nutrition guides for recipes, and can therefore use that experience here.
Many of the recipes that I have created happen to be vegan, or vegetarian, but all of which are inspired by fresh, real food that are naturally healthy and delicious!
I have been looking for a writing opportunity which puts my culinary knowledge to use, while exercising my love of writing. I would be more than happy to commit to this project.
My favorite food to cook has, and probably always will be, Hunter Chicken, or Chicken Chasseur. Using a flat bread pizza crust, it makes a pretty tasty French/Italian fusion pizza as well!
