Autocad programming

I have files that I use at work to layout different things doing construction. Currently when layout a point that is too close to another point I have to notify someone else who then has to try and navigate through the giant 3D model to see what is around those points to determine where we can move our point to. What I would like is for someone to write a plugin or program that will check all of our points to see if they are too close to anything. If they are then I would like the plugin/program to compare the nearest objects based on their locations and dimensions to create an overlay visually for where the point can be moved without needing to manually look through the 3D model. The files are BIM files from Autodesk using their BIM 360. For now I would like to find a few people who are familiar enough with this software and think they could help before I waste too much time trying to explain further.
