7 TIPS TO WIN YOUR WAY UP AFTER A BREAK UP
Breaking up is a frustrating feeling especially when you’ve given your best shot to make the relationship work. But what if it is really the time to stop and break up? Is it right for you to allow yourself to be bluer than blue? Here are some tips to help you get back on your feet again.
1. Acceptance. Accept that the relationship is over. Pour out your tears.
2. Examination. Look at what happened to your relationship and conclude what made it end. There is no need for you to determine who’s to blame. It is better to know why it ended rather than who made it end.
3. Talk. Express your feelings and ideas regarding the break up. It is good to speak out the anger, sadness, fear, and dismay of the relationship. It is best to release everything than keep it. Talk to a professional to provide information and skills on range of relationship issues.
4. Never feel guilty. Guilt may destroy your emotional state. Never feel that you’re the only one accountable for the failure of the relationship.
5. Time. Give yourself time to grieve. Allow time to heal the wounds that the relationship had left.
