an arduino controller receives data from PIR sensors, creates a JSON message and puts it to a web service json endpoint . This is currently achieved via a wifi shield on the arduino. The arduino firmware is written and works.
this project is to write a second version of the arduino firmware to use a GPRS shield instead of wifi.
