- What's type of program you want to have? a window-based apps, or dos-based one? of course they al are written in C++. - The solution for the assignment is simple: + We use STL Map Lib for storing Key (electricity production per day) & Value (list of days have this electricity production). + Binary search tree is for storing the keys in binary tree order (which help to retrieve info in nlog(n) complexity). + on start, the program do read continuously each rows from input file and then create inside memory these 2 data structure. + An simple interface allow user to enter his/her kWh value. + Program use binary tree to search & then STL Map to retrieve dates and then show on screen. This project sounds just like one that I had in Data Structures in college. It simply requires creating a BST sorted by the energy outputI will message you some of the function prototypes for clarity.
