I am an experienced SQL architect / DBA / Developer, Microsoft MCITP qualified and have been working in the Microsoft SQL and BI toolset for the past 10 years. I am personable and articulate and have a lot of experience in optimising SQL server instances whether hardware or SQL related. Most often 100% CPU bottlenecks occur when there are blocking transactions competing for the CPU resource. For example an update statement trying to update the database at the same time as data trying to be read. The default isolation level is READ COMMITTED.
