C# .Net WinForm that communicates with a web service

We have three locations in a warehouse that we want to capture data. They will be running Windows 7 desktops. The last location will need to print to a USB label printer. The data will be stored in a database (MS SQL or MySQL). We can give you the database to use. This project is to create the WinForm application and the WCF web service. The WCF web service will be run at a different location and will be world accessible. The web service will do the data entry / retrieval. We can provide a development environment to remote into and use with access to a dev database and any dev tools you may need. I have attached some preliminary design documents.

Hi, I have experience in writing WCF services and also I see that you mentioned the possiblity of using SQL azure as your database. I have completed a past project that hosted the WCF server and the database all on azure thus eliminating the need for anything to be hosted on your servers. I will be honest and say my preferred desktop .Net development environment is WPF which is the successor to winforms. I would still use winforms if you insisted however I would ask you to look at WPF. If you have any questions then please do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks Kevin Ross
