Knowledge: of iOS, NSUserDefaults, Arrays, Dictionaries, plists, user persistence, Audio, Animation techniques, Scenes, Layers and simple game design required.
Size: Borderline Large Project.
Possible: Cross platform work into Droid.
This project will employ a singleton game manager design pattern to manage game state. Game State data can be persisted using NSUserDefaults, Dictionary, or SQL-Lite - there is not much to track so simpler the better. It will contain 5 level destinations, with intermediary CCScenes / Layers before achieving the destination level. For each destination level there will be a word hunt required before "opening up" another destination level. The hunt will be 1st grade level reading/writing.
Knowledge of TexturePacker (animation plists), Adobe Illustrator (rendering correct image sizes), and Sprite Sheets is helpful.
Preliminary design work is completed, and artwork is in progress, as is main character animation. Successful completion and partnership in this initiative will lead to refactoring an existing project in the App Store and further partnership / employment for similar games under trademark. Additional details including designs, artwork and concepts already created can be shared under NDA. Interview required.
