Create a branched scenario

We would like you to create a 'branched scenario' to do with Armed hold ups in hotels. See example below for a branched scenario activity: [login to view URL] Another basic model to describe 'challenge', 'choices' and 'consequences' [login to view URL] See also [login to view URL]~donclark/hrd/elearning/[login to view URL] The task is to create a branched scenario including 1. actual armed robbery scenario including dialogue if required 2. create 5 challenge points / scenarios with 2-4 choices at each point 3. correct approaches, consequences, feedback at each point 4. should be a resolution or end to the scenario 5. include a diagram to show basic outline of branched scenario Use Australian government resources like these links to determine correct actions: [login to view URL] AND the following info (indirectly through the scenario) The personal safety of staff and patrons is more important than any money or stock lost. If you or your venue is the victim of an armed robbery, your first priority should be to remove the threat from the venue as quickly as possible and with no harm to staff or patrons. 1. Follow the offenders’ instructions at all times. 2. Do exactly as they say and nothing more. Remember the offender will be nervous and tense. 3. Don’t initiate conversation with the offender. 4. Speak only when spoken to and listen to what they want. 5. Stay calm and quiet and avoid any sudden or unexpected movements. If you are told to do something, explain in advance what you have to do to comply. For example, “I am now going to open the cash register.” 5. Don’t attempt to retaliate or attack the offender. 6. The personal safety of staff and members is more important than any money or stock lost. 7. Avoid eye contact and show your hands. 8. If you need to move, keep your hands where the offender can see them and explain what you are doing. 9. Don’t activate alarm systems unless it is safe to do so. Incorrect actions should lead to feedback only, any drastic consequences should only be alluded to. Feedback might be (for instance) that the Robber is now behaving more irrationally, do you now.... (present similar options as previous branch). The scenario should end when the armed robber has fled, but there should be an additional step regarding safety or staff and patrons or a less desirable action (for instance running after the car to catch a glimpse of the number plate).
