We have a cold storage where hundreds of small fruit and vegetable traders come and store their produce. We have to keep track of customers, their lots, product types, where their lots are stored in the warehouse, for months. I want an excel sheet which helps the manager know exactly what is incoming, outgoing, and storage along with rates and rent. I tried to create the sheet myself but it would probably take me days. I need someone to do it sooner and develop a good working document. I have attached the sheet I was working on for reference and to get a clear idea of what I'm looking for. The sheet would need to only take manual entries of stock received and stock despatched. The rest of the calculations need to be automated. Calculations required would roughly be: 1. Total incoming stock/outgoing stock: segregated by dates, customers, type of product 2. Customer data - i need a sheet wherein I can pull out customer data - a sort of ledger which has details of their transactions (stock they have stored and stock they have taken out). 3. Rent calculations - each product has a different rent, and each customer has a different rent. So I need to be able to calculate the rent as well. You can create the sheet with sample data. I already have someone to do the data entry.

Hello, After going through your requirements, I would like to make a suggestion. If you are willing, I can make you a standalone software in Microsoft Access which would give you all the functions you need for your business. It would have a main menu which would lead you to the following : 1. Product entry form 2. Customer entry form 3. Product types 4. Product Storage Details 5. Customer Rent Details It would also include reports for ; 1. Customer List 2. Customer Details 3. Customer rent details 4. Product List 5. Lot wise Products, etcc I would be able to make this software using Microsoft Access 2007. However if you need it specifically in Excel then please do not consider my bid.
