Create a Microsoft Access 2010 Database, import a Table from Excel 2010 into the database, and develop various functions to view, change and output the data from within the Access 2010 Database.
Objective is to organize, update and use 43,000 records, with reports based on Queries and Filters.
IMPORTANT: See TWO attachments which contain:
1. An RFP Document (6 pages);
2. Sample XLS Data File (~200 random sample rows);
3. Illustration of Individual Record View Form; and
4. Cherokee’s Work-For-Hire Agreement.

This project involves two (2) parts:
1. Development of a simple Microsoft Access 2010 Database; and then
2. Import 43,000 rows from an Excel XLS file into this database.
REASON FOR CANCELING PROJECT: No bidder, not even one, offered any evidence that they could do the work. Everyone claims "easy" and "done many times" but not one bidder demonstrated that with samples of previous work. We spent a lot of time developing a detailed requirement, and emphasized what was important to us. Nobody apparently paid any attention, and just expected out of ignorance or arrogance that we would blindly trust people we have never met to do this job. Most were simply bidding blind and we are sure they did not READ our description. We said ESTHETICS were important, but not one bidder understood that. All of the functionality we need is already available from Microsoft Access 2010 and/or Word 2010, so we were going to pay USD $250 or more simply for a nice, easier-to-use INTERFACE and some pre-written queries and reports, none of which were more than moderately complicated. Several bidders were kind enough to offer suggestions (thank you), but these always offered much more than we needed, making it more complex, more costly, and required more than MS Access 2010 software.
