AVR MCU Hex File Editing

hello if the file is hex format, you have to convert it manually to obtain instructions, subroutines calls and so. thanks

Hi i have considerable experience in working with hex files. If you can send me the file i can let you know better. Usually hex files are microcontroller specific . There are some hex file debuggers as well.

Hi. If the file is indeed an inc file it is basically a source file, not a compiled one. It is an include file for the assembly language. I think you also need some .s or .asm file and these can be build into a hex file. Please check what you have and give me some feedback. BR, Horia Pop

I have hacked files using hex editors. I have used the AVR (some time ago). This project appears to mostly involve the use of ASCII/HEX pattern matching (?). Hello and tank you for looking at my bid. I'm quite experienced in ATMEL micro-controllers but I can't say I understand for sure your project so please help me a little: usually the file wit the extension *.inc are assembly language text files to be included in a project, they are not hex and to obtain something useful out of them they have to be compiled and transformed in the hex file to be loaded in the device. Can I have a look at your file and could you explain me a bit in more detail what do you want to accomplish ? If possible send me the file and explanations and I will tell you if I can do it for the amount I bid.
