Design a sequential 4-bit multiplier which multiplies two 4-bit positive numbers A and B and outputs the product P. P is an 8-bit number. You are allowed to use only one TTL 7483 4-bit adder and any number of other components.
The circuit should have the following inputs and outputs:
Inputs: Two 4-bit numbers A and B, Start signal S and Clock.
Output: Output ready flag R (use a LED), and one 8-bit number P (Use a seven segment display for 7-bits and a LED for the 8th bit)
The circuit should function as follows:
Whenever the start signal S is 0, the circuit should read the input numbers and set the R flag to 0.
Whenever the start signal S is changed from 0 to 1, the circuit should compute the product and lights up the output ready LED. The output should remain constant after the R flag is set, i.e., there should be any change in the output in the subsequent clocks until S is changed to 0.
