Database Development

I need someone to develop a database. I am not a database expert so I may not be properly explaining myself, but here is an overview: 1. Overview of the data: a. I have a data set of about 40,000 rows and 60 columns which represent sales transactions b. Each row has a unique identifier number and a current "status" c. All rows are already formatted and are considered to be “clean” 2. Required database platform: a. I currently only have Access 2007; however, I am willing to consider using a different system (such as Zoho Creator, Caspio, QuickBase, etc) if it makes more sense. i. I prefer to use something online, such as Caspio, but am willing to consider any reasonable options ii. There will most likely only be a need for 1 user for now 3. Necessary functionality: a. I need to be able to import an Excel spreadsheet into the database on a daily basis i. The spreadsheet will list any sales transactions which have changed in the last 24 hours ii. The database must be able to take the data from the spreadsheet and identify which transactions are new, and which ones are updates 1. The new transactions will be added to the data set 2. The existing transactions will be updated with the new data b. The database must be able to perform calculations for each new transaction i. The database must be able to take the new transactions and compare them to other transactions in the same “category”
