Need a small package built that allows us to bring in an excel-based data set that is sent to us every month. Ultimately the dataset needs to be imported into a Microsoft SQL relational table. Some transformations include: ignoring a fixed number of rows in the beginning of the excel record set as well as the last record in the excel record set. rename column names manipulating the data types so that values do not show up in exponential notation and are not missing leading 0 values such as for zip code columns. We would like the package to dynamically create the table name each time the package is run. Ideally, we would like the package to listen for files within a target folder so we do not have to rename the file each time we want to run the package.

Hello, I will create a package for you. I have worked for SSIS in the past with transfer the data from the Access to SQL and this will be similar to that and also need some query to create the table. Also i need information about which SQL server you are using so based on that i can create package in 2008 or 2010. Looking forward to your positive reply. thanks, lads09
