I can create simple GUI program for Mac OS where you'll be able to select source Excel file (XLS or XLSX) and target folder for images. After you click Start button the script will read Excel file and try to download each image one by one using URL from the Excel file. For each image it will write Status field back to the source file. All I need to start is your Excel file sample and milestone payment from you. You'll release milestone only after you check everything on your side. Thanks. Roman

Hi Understood. Question: What is the average size per image (in KB/MB)? I can create the script today that will read the given Excel file and will download the images according to your listed requirements. I will be using PHP so you can run it via MAMP on your Mac if you need the script. But I think it will be better if I run it on my PC and send the images back to you using Dropbox etc after quick verification of files downloaded succesfully.
