I need a database where I can define low level parts,their purchase cost, mechanical assembly cost, electrical assembly cost and any other cost incurred associated with the part. I need to store data associated with the part including manual, certificates, photographs, drawings.

I then need to configure a system from these parts in a multi level assembly. With the addition of each part i require a cost build up itemised as above. I then need to define a mark-up on materials and a an overall profit. whilst this is a multi level structure for simplicity 2 levels would suffice. when this is working to my satisfaction I need to generate customers quotes from this information.
