Hello everyone,
I am a student working on my thesis at the moment and I have a lot of difficulties analyzing my data using one of the softwares Stata or SPSS. In my thesis I investigate whether mutual funds managed by foreign or domestic managers perform differently in terms of returns and fund flows in the German mutual fund market. My main conjecture is that foreign managers will be discriminated by German investors even though their funds do not perform differently than their German countreparts. To analyze performance a simple regression following the CAPM model, Fama-French and Full Factor model shoud be done for each portfolio which I have already constructed. Fund flows will also be measured using a simple linear regression analysis. I already have all the data needed which is uploaded in the excel file bellow.
