I have been developing with Visual FoxPro since it was released. I have worked with many systems using external feeding such as with handheld devices and even keyboard wedge tethered scanners. I can adjust my bid lower based on clarification as I think what you are looking for should not take more than just a FEW hours. My clarification is to ask... have you considered using a tethered-scanner (keyboard wedge scanner)? Then from a printed report LABEL with the raw details is encoded with the different pieces you need displayed (such as with 2d barcode). The scanner can see all the pieces, and when scanned into a field in the data entry, it could be parsed and fill the rest of the data entry for the user to confirm. Or, a secondary table is created with all the details and a simple linear barcode could be entered, query the full data and populate the form for confirmation. As posted, your question lacks enough detail for anyone to really offer a fair estimate for the job. I would be more than happy to clarify via notes through this forum. Propongo seguir con el lenguaje visual foxpro pero con una base de dato mysql que permite el manejo de un gran volumen de informacion a parte de ser un mejor manejador de base de datos. The application you are describing is an OCR type application that feeds data to your Visual FoxPro database and I have the experience on how to build those types of applications for Visual FoxPro.
