Add input Textboxes to Stage Using ActionScript 3 with code in timeline not classes, apply formatiing. We have a school website with activities and would like to dynamically add text fields to a MovieClip on the stage. The text in the textfield should be able to receive formatting of color, size and embedded fonts. The code should be on the timeline and it should be for ActionScript3, Version 9. Currently we are simulating this functionality using text fields that are already on stage but hidden. When the children click "add text" the text box then becomes visible and the text can be sized, colored and have the font changed. We have 3 hidden input text fields. What we want to do is dynamically create the text fields. To see an example of what we want, visit [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] and design a printable card. Using the add text option, you will see that the text fields appear to be dynamically created and are not limited in number, can be formatted for color, size and font. Whether these are text fields are already in the library, we don't know. That is what we want to do for our school activity page.
