Children's story reader and 5 simple mini games

Global Reqs: Original artwork and audio will be provided for the games and stories, however interface elements will be required. Wireframes are attached, which should outline the application more clearly. Reader Reqs: The reader should present the user with an interface to select from a list of stories. Upon selection, the user is offered a number of options, "Play book page by page"; where the user is presented with an interface for stepping through each page in the story and playing back individual words by clicking on them. The story should read though with the words highlighting as the associated audio is played. "Play book automatically"; similar to the previous option, but here the story is read from start to finish without requiring user interaction. The story content is to be loaded from an XML file and MP3s, with the XML either referring to timestamps in the MP3 or with each MP3 broken down into it's constituent words and the XML linking to the individual MP3s. Additionally, approx. 2 pages per story will require minor animation, such as a bursting bubble, all artwork will be provided. Games Reqs: On the same story options page as the reader, the user can also select one of five associated mini games to play. These games are "Matching Images to Words", "Exploring Associated Words", "Exploring Rhyming Words", "Word Search" and "Word Puzzle". These games are covered in more detail in the attached games.pdf. Each of the games should accept it's required variables, such as image files and associated words from an XML file to allow for abstraction and reuse for each story.
