Whenever you are writing a biography; when you pen down a life. You are not just writing a memoir, far from it! But you are telling a story. How interesting it becomes, when we look on the street at random faces. Nothing special to tell, not intriguing enough. They are just there, minding their own business doing their own jobs. An art of relentless pursuit, just to survive for next few day, may be months or few years. How banal, how boring!
But whatever you are looking at is not as simple as you see! Narrow down your vision (it's funny, Usually we ask to broaden the vision.). But seriously, narrow down your vision to a single person on that street. It can be anybody. Names, physique or status doesn't matter. Just choose a person & dig into his/her life. Suddenly you will find the precious moments of his/her life which was hidden from the world just few moments ago. Surely, there are painful moments in between, just like impurity in a gem stone. But they don't make that gem, dull or undesirable. On the contrary, they add dark colors in the life story of that person, make it more vivid, & valuable because of the lessons learned.
That life is rich in drama, full of every possible human emotion you can find. A life interesting enough to have a look. But when you broaden your vision once again, it vanishes behind the banality of the crowd.
What made that story so interesting? Was it the life of that person, or your very vision? You decide! Whatever I had to say, I said it all.
