1. Do you have a tagline or a slogan? Would you like to see it incorporated with the logo?
You can say the name of the organization is kind of a slogan itself. If you like you can experiment with “Humanitarian Aid” as a tagline.
2. What are the marketing and business goals using this logo; what will it accomplish?
The logo will be used actively in the marketing here in Norway. The identity, principles and work of Save Life will be “baked” into the logo by continuously linking it to our work and the way we carry out the work (principles and values).
Over time the logo will be easily recognized by people of Norway and serve in communicating the purpose of our organization and our principles. When they see any document, flyer, board etc they’ll immediately know that this is from us – a reliable humanitarian organization. A logo is the first thing we notice on paper or board and can be recognized even from distance.
Save Life identity is made up by:
Identity = values + principles + humanitarian work
3. How would you describe your company/business to someone?
Save Life is a foundation established to serve the humanity through providing humanitarian aid, education and development projects to fulfill the needs of orphans, the poor, needy, and is primarily based on volunteer work. Our motivation is the jazaa of Allah. We also attract allot of non-muslims/Norwegians who wants to contribute to our work after seeing it.
Will the logo be used in print, online, signs or other materials? What are the immediate plans for logo usage?
- Yes.
Print on paper, plastic, metal (pens, etc), clothing (t-shirt etc), online (web-site (which is under development) and social media).
That we are a professional foundation providing humanitarian aid globally.
(Our initial priority will be Syria and Pakistan.)
-The text “Save Life”. This MUST be included. Besides this you can experiment with
- some geometry (harmonic)
- you can also experiment with wheat/barley or something else indicating humanitarian aid like a drop of water..
Be creative and innovative. Give us something really intelligently built and unique.
The logo must be that it is made by intelligent and noble people. It must reflect harmony. Be nice to look at. Our organization is unique in many ways – so must the logo be.
It must not give the impression that the lines and formations in it are put in by a lucky chance. They must look like they have a meaning since they are in the logo.
A combination of text and graphic..illutratation
We don’t want to “lock” the logo into specific colors already at this stage. The colour green should be included somehow. The colours you put in must represent something.
We will like to dedicate a whole web-page to our logo with explanation of its content.
It must not look like a tech-company, It-company, retailer etc.. It must give associations to humanitarian work.
You can also design the text by hand on paper and take a picture of it or scan it and work on it from there to make it unique..
attaching a idea of logo, made by hand. We need it to be seen in a awesome unique design made in calligraphy or typographic way!
