Design Logo Favicon and Avatar

Hey Guys,
I am looking for someone with great skills willing to do a quick project. I am in need of a design logo and avatar. The Logo is obviously for my site at [login to view URL], and the avatar is for things like facebook, gravatar, forums etc. The favicon while small is also important, while small it must be given care and compliment the site as well. For the time being I have a place holder in the logo area, and the logo in place is no representation of what I actually want.
The website is a magazine type of website posting interesting things around the web, and beyond. You have a full range of latitude in your creativity. I want you to deliver a professional high res product.
Please have references to past design projects, and please no cut and paste bids. If its obvious you didn't read this post I am moving on.
