Statement of Faith is an online, faith-based, collaboration of vivid illustrative stories; dynamic study resources; and a robust network to connect the Christian community.
Statement of Faith is seeking an original logo design to represent them within the digital cosmos of desktops, tablets, and smart phones (apps and the web). Our primary objective is to inspire and engage those in and outside the church through our dynamic, interactive resources (ex. search tools, videos, animated stories, Q&A section, outreach programs, etc.).
Freelancers... We are seeking the best logo concepts that fit our service and vision. Below are instructions to help get you started. We thank you in advance, and wish you the best.

I have attached some logo examples as a starting point. The 'calliope' and 'sky juice' attachments are good examples of styling I like. The 'logo' attachment shows my preferred placement of text - stacked, opposed to inline.
I'm also open to a logo using clever whitespace to sell the brand, and create a stronger image. See examples attachments: 'doug', 'union', and 'shift'.
Keep in mind, that the logo will be used in a faith-based community. However, I prefer to stay away from using a cross symbol anywhere throughout the design, unless it's incredibly clever.
A color scheme has not been set. However, I am leaning towards a greenish hue (708a03, or 91a63f). With all these instructions, keep in mind that, nothing is set in stone. Any great idea will be considered.
Also, we are looking for an organic 'look', oppose to digital. More illustrative, to match our creative service.
