Design and Build a Small, Responsive Web-based App

We have already built a very simple yet cutting-edge web-based app in-order to demonstrate our app technology to other app developers. The current app is very small (three pages) and will likely work well as a single page design. While it does have a UI, it is very basic and we want to make it into a very modern, elegant and captivating app. We are seeking a talented website/app graphic designer to design the look and feel of the app, including all UX and GUI. The app is a web application is a Weather App that provides personalized recommendations based upon the app user's DNA. It utilizes a weather API to ascertain weather based on the user's position and a webcam API to provide images of city webcams close to where the user is located (so that the images match the weather the user is currently experiencing). The app also provides notifications such as whether the user should apply a certain SPF of sunscreen in the morning based upon an analysis of the app user's DNA and the the weather forecast for that day. Please Note: You do not need to know anything about DNA or backend coding for this project. All of the backend code has already been completed and the prototype application is online. We will provide access to the prototype to the top three candidates for this project so they can view the entire app before we move forward. We require that you have experience of designing and developing responsive user interfaces for web and mobile application using the latest design tools and frameworks. You will be required to present wireframes which will be approved by us following which you will be required to code the HTML structure for each page. Our app uses standard HTML input controls such as textboxes, table, buttons and images although the freelancer we bring on for this project will be expected to redesign the entire look and feel of the app. We require that a high level of creativity delivered into this project and present us with minimal, modern, lightweight design that is fully responsive (so that it can uniformly adapt to the device on which it is viewed). Requirements: -Expert with CSS3 and HTML/HTML5 -Expert with Javascript, Parallax and AJAX -Expert designing fully Responsive websites AND web-based apps for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and IE 9+ -Experience with Single Page design -Able to provide us with at least three examples of web based apps you have fully designed within the last year. If you are unable to provide us with examples of web-based apps, please do not apply. -Freelancer must notify our company in writing and must obtain approval from our company in writing before using any pre-made templates or pre-existing code, including open-source code -Be able to turn around the designs at a rapid pace. Turn-Around Time (for entire project) = 7 days Milestones 10% - Three different Design Mockups, each with very different directions 10% - 3-4 rounds of revisions for one of the design mockups 30 % - Fully coded GUI. This will then be attached to the backend by our developer 20% - Freelancer to test and fix any issues with UI. Freelancer also to modify UI based on our feedback. 30% - Final deliverable of all source code, compiled code and artwork is provided and verified to include all company feedback. Our company will be the sole owner of all source code, compiled code, graphic design, artwork and intellectual property.
