Design a Website Mockup

Dear Web Designer,

Here is a summary of who we are, what we do and our target audience. We are looking to change our current website ([login to view URL]) to be more user friendly, maneuverable, more content rich; updated with a fresher design, color and font. Not to mention I need a new logo.

WHO WE ARE:

We are a spiritual organization of healers and teachers with extensive backgrounds in India spirituality. Our focus is meditation, knowledge and healing. Our tradition and rituals are linked with the saints Shirdi Sai Baba, Sri Kaleshwar, Jesus and Mother Divine.

HERE IS OUR TARGET AUDIENCE:

Meditators, healers, people in need of healing. People who would enjoy chanting of ancient mantras and eastern bhajans/kirtans. People who are involved in alternative consciousness movement. Those who would be interested to go on power journeys to India.

A lot of the content comes from our spiritual master and the knowledge which he taught till his passing in 2012. Our objective is to share this knowledge and techniques to new people who would be interested as well as people who have been exposed to this lineage and want to know more.

WEBSITES DESIGNS WHICH WE LIKE:

[login to view URL] : This is the closest to our course layout and design. Font is great. Color is close but would change a few things. The way that the tabs and how when the mouse goes over areas and lights up is good.

The general layout is pretty good. It is almost too much but it is just enough and it is sectioned off nicely but would adjust the content sections to give more distinctions.

Most of these designs are powerfully laid out. Their 3D approach to tabs and maneuvering. News which I mentioned above is very informative version of the company template.

[login to view URL] Good layout, informative, well displayed information which is easy to maneuver. The colors and font are not to our liking. Great Logo !!! Main menu drop down is exacty what we are looking for.

OUR ACTIVITIES:

Spiritual Classes: This is a very important part of our work. We have ongoing classes, seminars, podcasts, video conferences both on premises and long distance learning. We have over 25 courses and topics that we offer throughout the year.

Temple: Events and community activities all on our physical premises. 2x monthly we have sacred fire pujas at our location. We call them “Fire Pujas for Transformation & Peace.

We have developed an outdoor area for cultural activities, concerts and performances of local talent presented during festivals. We also rent out this part of the temple for weddings, celebrations and special occasions.

Social Outreach: We conduct off premises homeless feeding programs, Healing clinics, community outreach programs. Thus far we have done programs at Ronald McDonald House, Veterans Administration, Food Pantry Dinners and many more.

All these activities we are trying to organize and display in a cohesive, interesting and ease of use way. It is important that everything is logically placed and allows the user NOT to feel overwhelmed. They should spend time not being frustrated by saying "where do I go to find out more?" It should be intuitive and fun to maneuver within the website.

We are looking to work with someone that we can communicate with on a regular basis, so that we can ideas about the website. We have a pretty good idea what we want but require a skilled developer/designer that can guide us and give valuable feedback.
