Build a Social Media Driven Website

RFP - MENAP Introduction We are an established company in the MENA region, with a diversified portfolio of interests across multiple industries/sectors, we are looking to build our existing portfolio of online real estate/assets through acquisitions and new build strategies. We are looking to contract a vendor/partner to develop a new webs directory in the social space targeting and catering to a young demographic with high levels of social media engagement and activity, Our audience will typically include media savvy generation X,Y and Z. The new website will focus on the social media segment, and should be have a highly intuitive UI for browsing and navigating through content, the site will deliver (social media data for celebrities, athletes, sports stars, film stars and viral stars, etc.) and social media videos, fashion, beauty, lifestyle articles and content, including a downloadable app. The audience will be accessing the site through typical e-channels, internet, mobile, tablet and the site should be interface friendly across all recognised devices and platforms (no flash or non mobile friendly technology to be used). The site has existing active social media accounts which will drive traffic through posts, content and promotional activity, the site should naturally be social media friendly across the usual platforms, snap, FB, you tube, twitter, etc. The site should include open source CMS, design features, the site will include high quality photographic content and high quality graphic stylistics, social media articles will include celebrities from a wide range of backgrounds and industries. Competition exists within the space although we believe that the segments are still nascent and market share is largely untapped. User requirement / Typical users will require a site that is aesthetically appealing, with an intuitive interface with quick navigation and ease of use. Content We will provide all content/data/articles from the outset and the site should have a content management system installed that is easy to update and under full control by our admin or selected awarded vendor, Website editors must be able to edit content without requiring technical knowledge - we therefore require a solution based on an open source Content Management System. Directory and user interaction requirements, the site requires a directory function, browse products functions, articles/content search function/feature. Future Website Market position and growth – the website should be positioned as an authority site on its subject matter content and depth, as such it should have a well presented USP in terms of message, design and content. There are plans to launch an app in parallel with the site. Budget Our budget for this project is in the range of ($800-$1,000) and there will be an ongoing budget for maintenance, support, digital marketing, email, content and SEO which we would naturally favour to the winner of this bid.
