Countdown timer from 'Lost' TV show

For a party we want to build a replica of the countdown timer as seen in the TV show 'Lost'. A picture & description is here [login to view URL] The project involves making a series of movies to show each digit animating. We will write software to arrange the digits on screen and trigger the animations. The animations should be provided in both AVI format and a series of .JPG files The animations will be: - Resetting the timer after the 'number' is entered into the computer. - Each digit counting down - The egyption heiryogliphics animation seen after the timer runs out.
